I still can't believe that my 1920s outfit made the 3rd place in the DoA Fashion Contest. That's just amazing, especially for me since I am very much a self taught (hobby-) seamstress, so yes, it's pretty much awesome. Thank you all so very, very much!!
Some of you asked me what doll I will receive, well, I will get the Fairyland Chic Line Lishe - and I am very happy with her. A couple of days ago I did have a male Chic Line body here with me to sew a pair of trousers for a friend of mine and I really appreciated the fact how easy it was to disassemble the body (yay for magnetic hand/feets, etc.) so I'm sure that this girl will be easy to sew for .
Right now I've started working on the hats I'll have for sale at LDoll. My plan is to not bring too many this year. I think it will be only around 10 - 12 hats this years. They will be mostly cloche hats (asymmetric ones like in my contest entry) and maybe 1 or 2 other styles.
